Step 1. Locate the -48VDC A and B power

feed connectors on the back of the

MTAS-192 shelf (left side).

Step 2. Connect AWG #16 solid copper wire

from the Power Distribution Bay to

the -48VDC connectors on the

MTAS-192 backplane dual wire

terminal header for Battery (-48VDC)

and Return (RET), for both A and B

power feeds if required.

Step 3. For the primary/A power feeds, form

a loop with both the -48VDC Battery

and Return feeds and push them into

an open Steward EMI suppressor,

then close the EMI suppressor.

Please see Figure 25. Repeat for the

redundant/B feed.

Step 4. Dress, tie, and label cables following

local procedures.
